Nespresso comes to SoHo

So what is it? Nespresso is a Nestle company and is their premier line of coffees and exclusive machines.  Nespresso utilizes a extracting machine that under high pressure brews coffee from a single serving capsule. Very much like espresso. Nespresso is not how your parents made coffee.

If you like to live in the moment, like to cater your coffee taste depending on your day, need to move fast or just like to entertain guest while offering perhaps dozens of varieties and flavors. Nespresso is the answer.

No longer are you confined to brewing one variety of bean, roast or flavor…why not have it all!

Nespresso has actually been around since 1976, but available only in Europe or through mail order. Recent years seen this form of brewing grown in popularity here in America. Likely due to Americans love of choices and we are always on the go. Even then though Nespresso was only available in distinct stores or online.

Where can I get MINE…well now you can not only shop and buy your own Nespresso machine and dozens of capsules. You can now relax and enjoy Nespresso in its new SoHo boutique cafe. If you never tried Nespresso well now try before you buy.

SoHo is perfect for Nespresso’s American store. SoHo already attracts alot of European’s who are familiar with its coffee. SoHo shoppers are attracted to style, fashion, quality and uniqueness…Nespresso is all the above.

If you live in SoHo it is even better now we have our own Nespresso store. Of course if you are looking to move to SoHo the addition of Nespresso makes SoHo even more desirable. A beautiful artistic Nespresso machine compliments any loft. SoHo truly has it all.

“At this SoHo chocolatier, the same ingenuity that brought sesame to a truffle puts a dark chocolate-and-sesame ganache between two black-sesame meringues, leaving intimations of almond on your tongue. Sample the peach-ginger and rose-lychee confections.”
—Departures, Nov/Dec 2008

Kee’s Chocolates was formed in 2002 by
Kee Ling Tong, who left her job in the corporate world to pursue her dream of opening a shop for flowers and chocolates in New York’s SoHo area. After a year, Kee’s reputation for making fine chocolates overshadowed her flower business, and she began to concentrate on her hand-made chocolates full time.

Seven days a week, Kee can be found at her shop making chocolates fresh for that day. The available flavors change with availability of ingredients, and certain flavors remain seasonal.

SoHo is for lovers.

This is a home for a family or a share for two professionals. Located in the Meatpacking District steps to the Apple store, Spice and Buddha Bar.

Nightlife in the Meatpacking District includes hot spots such as Cielo, APT and Tenjune.

Shopping in the neighborhood is short but big in designer names. Start with Stella McCartney, Jeffery New York and of course the famous Alexander McQueen store.

Now more about the space. A two bedroom, two bath with all new hard wood floors. Bedrooms located on first floor to offer privacy. The living room features a real wood burning fireplace. The kitchen opens up to a spacious sun room that leads onto your own private deck. Great for those BBQ’s in the summer. Two full baths, one on each floor.

The building also offers a bike room, storage and laundry. You are just steps to the ACE trains.

Rent: $5000.00

Hip British designer clothing chain All Saints opened free-standing stores in LA and Miami in 2009, so now it’s Manhattan’s turn. Last week, the brand announced that they’ll be launching a store at 512 Broadway between Spring and Broome Streets in SoHo.

I can’t imagine the thrill of store owners in SoHo. This is the shopping mecca of the world. Victoria Secret, Prada and others have their flagship stores in SoHo. Why? Because when people have money to blow, this is where they know they’ll find the most unique mom and pop stores mixed with the elegant global brands that steer the fashion industry.

One day I hope to take part in owning one of these signature store fronts that date back to the roaring 20’s, before SoHo was even, well, SoHo. Take Vesuvio Bakery for instance. Known for it’s Italian style coal burning stove baked bread and pastries.
